From Inspiration To Creation!
I believe in strong coffee, stronger massages, and the strongest excuses to take a break and breathe.
“After honing my skills and soaking in the warm, soulful energy of Atlanta, I’m returning to the Bay Area with a fresh perspective and a touch of Southern swing. I’m excited to bring this blend of experience, heart, and creativity to help others relax, heal, and grow while continuing my own journey of learning and transformation.”

Warm greetings from the heart of the Bay! I’m Bella Schear, a certified massage therapist, and proud owner of a woman of color owned wellness practice. As a biracial young woman, I’m passionate about creating inclusive and accessible healing spaces where everyone feels welcome.
I specialize in Swedish, deep tissue, scalp, foot, and spot massage blending techniques to melt tension, ease chronic pain, and leave you feeling grounded, balanced, and renewed. Every session is tailored to your body’s unique needs, because no two bodies are alike, and every person deserves care that truly fits them.
Massage therapy isn’t just a service it’s a partnership. I take the time to listen, understand your goals, and work with you to create lasting relief and relaxation. My mission is to help your body feel amazing, your mind feel calm, and your spirit feel refreshed.
When I’m not working with clients, I love exploring the Bay Area’s natural beauty, connecting with the community, and finding new ways to nurture both body and mind. These experiences inspire my work and deepen my understanding of holistic wellness.
I can’t wait to welcome you to Sweet Serenity Healing and help you experience the peace, balance, and rejuvenation that massage therapy brings!
“I love wandering off the beaten path, sketching whatever inspires me along the way, curling up with a spooky true crime series, and getting lost in a good book. Life for me is all about exploring, creating, learning, and a little harmless mystery it keeps every day interesting and full of inspiration.”
Frequently Asked Questions!
-
What Type Of Massage Do I Offer?
When it comes to massage therapy there are many versions of massage that I am trained in; however I specialize in deep tissue massage, swedish massage, head massage, and foot massage as well as spot work which is for specific injuries.
-
How Long Are The Sessions?
My sessions can range from 30 minute spot work to 120 minute deep tissue. It is up to the client and what they believe they need.
-
Where Am I Located?
I am a mobile massage therapist which means when you book with me I will be traveling to you for your scheduled massage. I eventually will have an office space once a week in Berkeley that you are welcome to book a session for as well.
-
What are The Benefits Of Regular Massage Therapy?
Massage therapy is a powerful way to relieve long term pain, melt away stress, and support deeper, more restful sleep. It also improves muscle mobility, enhances circulation, and can aid in recovery from injuries. With consistent sessions, clients often notice meaningful changes in their overall well being feeling clearer, lighter, more balanced, and more connected to their bodies.
-
What Should You Wear During Your Massage?
You should wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable whether that means keeping your undergarments on or removing them. Your choice will not affect the quality of your massage. You will always be properly draped with a sheet, and no private areas will ever be exposed.
-
Do You Need To Book In Advance?
Yes, booking in advance will make sure that your massage is held for that day and also gives you time to change or cancel your appointment if anything were to come up. It also means that you k on appointments!
-
What Is My Cancellation Policy?
Life happens I completely understand! All I ask is a little notice when plans change. Please cancel at least 72 hours before your appointment to avoid any fees. Cancellations made 48 hours in advance will incur a 30% charge, and those made 24 hours before will be 50%. If you cancel on the same day, the full amount will be charged (I’ll just imagine you were there in spirit). This policy helps keep my schedule running smoothly and ensures all my clients stay happy and smiling!
-
What Can You Expect During Your First Massage?
If this is your first massage, you might feel a little unsure of what to expect, or even slightly uncomfortable at first that’s completely normal. My job is to make sure you feel safe, relaxed, and fully supported throughout the entire session.
After your massage, you may notice a few temporary physical changes, such as slight dizziness, feeling extra tired, or wanting to sleep right away. These are normal responses as your body unwinds and resets.
By your third or fourth massage, you may also notice that my approach is different from large massage businesses. My sessions are not rushed, my timing is flexible, and I take the time needed to ensure you receive thoughtful, personalized care every single visit.
-
Do I Use Oils Or Lotions?
I use whatever products my clients feel most comfortable with. I offer lotions, creams, and oils, and I make selections based on your skin type, sensitivities, and any allergies. If you have a personal brand, preferred scent, or specific product you love, I’m happy to use it during your session either when you bring it with you or, if needed, I can pick it up in advance.
